THE GIRLIE SHOW 2007
This is a great full show shot that the man took. I love this...it shows off the whole event and is so glittery and pretty and full of people buying amazing arts.

For some reason we felt so calm about the show this year that we stopped at Starbucks for a coffee and a chit chat. This was right after a news interview so we were up at the crack that morning. We were all decked out in our girlie pink.

Girls on Film!!!
Check it out my people!!! Our fabulous fete, The Girlie Show, is now on film! Get a taste of the art, the fun, the artists and all the glam. Critics are calling it the ultimate chick flick! Tee Hee! It's so exciting to be able to share the show with everyone...this is my baby girl...I hope you enjoy...I'm very proud, even if the editor spelled my name wrong...I'll live with it. Go watch!

THE GIRLIE SHOW 2006
Yes, I'm just now getting around to posting photos of The Girlie Show from last year...I'm lame so what...I'm also pregnant and can do whatever I want to...so there. You can see more photos from the event on my Flickr.
It was a tremendous show and we are so proud of it. We had some totally amazing artists and crafts people this year...and from all over the country and Canada...way cool. We really enjoy producing the show and are going to be doing some fun things for the 2007 event. Right now, we are seeking applications for our new scholarship we are giving to a local college arts student. We will announce the winner in early May probably...then the show applications will start rolling in and will start the summer off for us. Whoo hoo! Go Girlie Show!!!!

Hey Hey Hey!
It's almost The Girlie Show day! I'm getting so freakin' nervous! We are all ready for it though, except for actual set up. My stomach gets in such knots though. Oh, dear! Wish me luck this weekend! It's going to be spectacular! I just need to take a few deep breaths!

Self Portrait Tuesday 7
Went to take photos of the interiors of a historic abandoned building for a developer...a little creepy inside with no electricity for lights. I sat down on the lone staircase waiting for an associate while she was on the phone. I figured I'd do a little "artistic" photography while sitting there...hence the shoe shots....and if you're wondering where I found those - got them on ebay several years ago....love them!

Baby Lily's First Tattoo...
...Sweater. I am so close to finishing this dang Stitch n' Bitch Nation baby sweater. This pattern is from hell by the way. I hate it. Thank goodness for my girl Amy who was working on hers for her baby girl at the same time...we worked through this mess together. I am on the seaming and that should be no problem...then I'll add the song birds and collar and be done with it. This is my first baby sweater...it's turning out darling. Lily's momma has song bird tattoos, so she will be all dolled up too. Lily is due October 20...my wedding anniversary.
