I just got this new sling at Target...love it and so does the boy. It's real snug and keeps him close..looks like a little cocoon. My girl Amy is gonna make me another one too, but in black...I got some kickin' fabric at ReproDepot...can't wait to wear that one. It's fun to wear him around in it...and he just looks up at me and checks out the house and what's going on...so sweet.

I took this of my shadow in front of the house at 32 weeks pregnant. I've been missing being pregnant lately...almost jealous of girls I see and know that are pregnant. I guess it's the anticipation feeling that was so exciting and now, that's gone and it's real life and I have a baby and it's super scary and overwhelming. Flynn is such a joy and am so glad he's here in our lives now. Life is so bizarre.

Hiccups

Flynnie has the hiccups...it's so cute! He had them in my belly...he has them now...all the time. This video was on June 1...he was 5 days old.

The coolest diaper bag ever

My girl, Cari, at MottoKitty (gotta give some props) made it for me. She makes the cutest bags. I wanted a cool diaper bag so we discussed all that I needed and she hooked me up. I wanted something I could use other than looking like a mommy bag, so we used my logo from my business cards and she made the design on my bag. I so love this. It's a must have and holds a ton! She'll make you one too...check her out...www.motokitty.com! She sent me a purse too which is darling. She's a scooter chick and in The Girlie Show...can't beat that.

This baby is so funny. I'm still laughing over this pose. Of course the pants are huge on him and up to his armpits, but I love him. And, his socks are finally fitting him. He can't wear his preemie stuff anymore...whoo hoo. We're growing up! He's over 6 pounds...going to get weighed this week to see where he's at.

I started back to work last week, I totally cried the first day...it was so bizarre leaving him after being with him 24/7. I'm okay now, but do miss his little sweet face. I would rather be with him, but ya know, ya gotta pay the bills sometimes....sucks!

My baby boy was born Saturday, May 26, 2007. Yes, I'm a little late in posting this info...but you know...I've been a little busy. I never imagined I wouldn't have time to do anything I normally did in my life before. All I want to do is sleep after nursing. This is a big job, but it doesn't really matter because he is so wonderful.

Flynn is now 3 1/2 weeks old and has changed so much already. We are trying to keep up with photos as well, but that is even a challenge. I will post more soon. He is an amazing little human. I'm a lucky girl for sure!

He came a month early and is healthy and gorgeous and I'm doin' great considering we had a natural breach childbirth. Let me be honest...that was not fun! But, in the end anything was worth having this soul in my life.

Baby Shower Time

My girlfriends threw us a wonderful baby shower this weekend. It was so perfect. Becky opened her home and Angi, Dawn and Marilyn hosted with her. It was so pretty and about 30 of my friends and family came. I just wish I could have visited with everyone longer...it went by so fast. They got us some wonderful thoughtful gifts and opening everything was so much fun. Flynn will totally be stylin' in all his cute gear. Thank girls for making this a wonderful time for me. I loved it!

At the shower, they sat me on the leopardess thrown to open gifts. The food was wonderful and Becky ordered the cutest cake with a preggo chick on it. My girls did a lovely job...it was a very special shower and was so much fun.

More adorable pug photos...I had to snap these while driving home from the wedding last weekend. Ape doesn't like to miss any of the action on the road, so he sits up practically the whole time so he can watch me. But, he actually falls asleep with his little face pressed up against the crate. He cracks me up. Plus, Enzo hogs the lay-down space.

This pug is such a mess. I caught him in the kitchen going through their travel bag and getting ready to dig into the treat box. Another minute and he would have had them all in his belly.

Time to Knit

I feel like I won't let myself knit right now until I get all baby and house stuff in order. I don't know why I do that to myself. I need to just do it. I guess I feel guilty doing fun things when I need to clean house...yuck!

I am however starting a little cotton beanie cap for Flynn and I'm going to do a matching one for his Daddy. I also want to make some little knit pants and a sweater for the fall/winter. Maybe I have a thing about making warm things in the summer cause he can't wear them yet and I'll be wanting to see him in them as soon as possible. I hate waiting. I am going a little bonkers right now waiting for June 23 to roll around...even though I only have 8 more weeks left. That's really not very far off.

JD is going to be taking pregnancy photos soon. I want to do my hair and makeup vintage so it will hopefully detract from the thighs a little. They should turn out pretty cool.

Work is throwing a shower for us next week and then the following week, my big shower. Everything seems to be happening so fast. Flynn is getting big and heavy. My belly is tight and uncomfortable and have had a little heartburn, which is not fun. And, I see what is the beginnings of the cankle. I've been dreading that happening, but will deal I suppose. I'll endure whatever is thrown at me for my little boy.
